Others can’t open my email attachments

Hey! I have a MacBook Air and am running the new Ventura. I have the “allow attachments to be opened by Microsoft users” checked. Two different recipients are both saying that they cannot open the pages documents I sent them. Anybody know how to work around this?

CANNOT SEND ATTACHMENTS FROM MS OFFICE PROGRAMS I use MS 365 on my MacBook Pro. Just recently, I am not able to send email attachments from any of the programs. The Outlook program does not open when I choose "share" from the menu of the opened document. I have always used it in the past, but it just recently started giving me trouble. Can someone please shed some light on this? I am running Ventura 13.5.2 and my MS office has been updated.

Mail not including attachments For the past year, about half of the time, when I include an attachment (usually a PDF or JPG under 4MB) to an email, the recipient says that there's nothing attached. How can I get attachments to attach? I've tried attaching by going to the File menu and clicking "Attach Files...", I've tried using the little paper clip icon in the tool bar, and I've dragged and dropped files on my email. I'm using Mail 16.0 with Ventura, on a 16" 2021 MacBook Pro.

What did you do with Export to Word or Send as Word document?

Windows users can not open Pages documents. In Pages export the Pages documents to Word then send the Word documents.

Can you post a screenshot of where you've checked “allow attachments to be opened by Microsoft users”?
