Apple Watch Series 6 - Workout app non-responsive
Apple Watch Series 6 WiFi on WatchOS 9.1 connected to iPhone 14 Pro Max.
I have an issue where I will start the Workout app from the watch, and the app is totally non-responsive. I cannot scroll up, down, etc. with either my finger or the crown - just won't move or allow me to select an activity. I will force close the app, reboot the watch, shutdown and restart the watch, etc.....and then for whatever reason 2-20 minutes later, it will work. It's driving me crazy.
Other interesting (random) symptoms on the watch..... I have a Peloton and the Peloton app on the watch will not detect my heart rate - will just show an line through the heart rate icon - then after 2-20 minutes it will start working again. The Heart Rate app will randomly not show my heart rate. The Activity complication will show 'LOADING...'
Every other app (appears) to be working okay. I get all notifications, all other apps are responsive. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the heart rate monitor and some sort of dependency from the apps giving me trouble.
I have gone so far as to reset the watch and set up as a new watch - not restore from backup. Same results.
It is just time for a new watch?
