What kind of stuff my BackUp is!

Hello Peeps!

I've purchased 50GB iCloud+, and it even ran of out storage.

Backup Detail apps show "No BackUp Data" as shown:

You can see my iCloud Photos BackUp is only 3.8GB olny

So, what thing is taking up iCloud+ storage?

icloud backup I am having trouble reducing space... photos and videos in my icloud I have deleted over a 1000 pictures and vidoes and it still does not free up any space in my icloud. I have even had a clean up app to get ridof duplicates and it still hasnt made a difference. Any suggestions?

iCloud backup takes up too much storage The app taking up the most iCloud storage takes up 9 MB. I don’t have an absurd amount of apps, but iCloud backup in total takes up 5.29 GB, and more is now supposed to be taken up. I’m not backing up much, why does it take up so much space when I turned off most app’s backup so I can save space? It’s hard to manage when my photos take up a lot of space too for no reason. And now after I turned off and deleted all backups after turning off most apps, now it takes up even more space.

Turned off Photo Sync to iCloud but iCloud backup increased? Hello All, I just started backing up my photos on my iPhone to my Western Digital NAS as iCloud was getting full of photos. I think I had about 2Gb of photos and the backup (apps and data on phone) was also about 2Gb. I stopped (a couple of days ago) synching my photos and stopped photos from being backed up into iCloud so total used iCloud was around 2Gb. Just today I received an email saying my iCloud was 95% full so I logged in to my iCloud account. There are no photos taking up any space but my iCloud backup doubled from 2Gb+ to 4Gb+. What the heck? Why would my iCloud backup increase?

Wait a while for your backup to load and calculate each app’s data.

See the Apple Support articles Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup and If you can’t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
