I have a problem. Magnetic timeline isn't working in FCPX 10.6.2. It create gaps in place which was cut.
How to enable magnetic timeline?
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

I'm using keychron k3 v2 and clicking "del" key instead of "backspace".

Is the Select tool activate? Press A. You might be using the Position tool.
Please step by step. You’re blading a clip in one place. Making another cut in the clip and then deleting the section between the cuts. Which key are you using? You must use the delete key on the main keyboard.
Do you have an extended keyboard? Are you using the Delete key on the keypad? The keypad key is wrong. What's the computer? What's the keyboard? The key on a Mac keyboard is marked "delete."
Backspace works. On that keyboard the del is replace with gap. On the Mac keyboard that's the delete key on a keypad or ⇧ Delete on a laptop keyboard.

Yes, Select tool is active. When I use blade it automatically creates gaps.
Exactly. First I use "B" on keyboard. Then making two cuts and delete clip between cuts by clicking "A", select clip and clicking "del" (delete key). This creates a gap between the clips.
