I have the MacBook pro Touch Bar 2016, showed that there was a software update to os Ventura, it is strange that according to Apple only Macs from 2017 onwards can run Ventura. I downloaded the software update. and Ventura works perfectly on my MacBook

That is strange. I haven't seen any other reports of that.

I am sorry for the confusion i purchased it in October 2016, however i kept thinking it was a 2016 model. I realise now it is the mac pro touch bar 2017 model. Which is compatible with OS Ventura. I apologise for the confusion.

Is the user certain the machine is from 2016 or perhaps a oversight?
