Since downloading ventura, dictation does not work on any of my Mac Applications

Is there a fix for this, or do I need to wait for APPLE to fix the bug?

Dictation is slow to a crawl in Sequoia This issue has been around since beta and it's still not fixed. All the mods keep locking the subjects that have to do with this bug so no one can vote this item up to get the bug properly scored. What a disservice to the user base. AI has made the issue so much worse. We use dictation very heavily at my job since we hire a lot of great people with disabilities who can be so much more efficient using dictation. I just found out the IT manager just purchased my whole department all new Windows 11 notebooks because of this issue. This is so wrong on so many levels. All 17 of us can't be having exactly the same problem this is a bug and it needs to be prioritized asap before more PC's are used to replace this very bad bug. Mods please don't lock this thread, the people who are rating this bug in the SCRUM process need the feedback.

Booting onto Safe Mode works briefly and continues after restart, but only for a few minutes. Then it no longer works. Strange.

I also tried turning off a number of start-up items, but that didn't help. I've reported this issue to Apple via the Apple Product Feedback page and suggest that everybody experiencing the issue do the same. Product Feedback - Apple

Sorry, but how can Dictation " Not work " in Ventura macOS 13 if it is " Since downloading Ventura " ?

That last statements implies the Full Version of Venture macOS 13 which would be about 12.19 GB has yet to completely be download and only then be installed ?

Care to elaborate how this is done ?

FWIW, Dictation works with Ventura on my iMac Pro and M1 MacBook Air.

Try booting into Safe Mode then restart normally.

All I know is Ventura is fully loaded on my Mac but now when I try and use dictation, it will not work.

everything else works ok but dictation doesn’t

What do you try? I d not see that in the post. I have the same issue on intel Mac while my M1 Mac works just fine.
