voice mail transcribing not working

transcription not working on 16.1 voicemail. tried turning siri on off, airplane more, reset network, and reset all settings, also new apn from my carrier and nothing still no transcribing

Voicemail transcription stopped working My voicemails are no longer being automatically transcribed. This feature just disappeared quite a while ago. Since disappearing, my iPhone is the same (12 Mini) and so is my carrier (AT&T), and I haven’t manually changed any settings having to do with my phone, so the only changes would be iOS updates (as of the date of this post I am up to date with the latest version). Old voicemails still have the transcribed text showing, and all research I have done hasn’t provided any solution that has worked (e.g.: just tap the voicemail and the transcript will download; make sure Siri is turned on). I have not contacted AT&T to see if they have stopped supporting this feature - does anyone know if this has happened? If not, and you still have voicemail transcription that works (especially if you use AT&T), what have you done to have it, and what can I do to get it back? Thank you.

Voicemail transcription no longer working with iOS17 update on AT&T "Visual" voicemail, or voicemail transcription was working flawlessly prior to installation of iOS17. It has not been working since. Has anyone figured out a solution to this annoying setback?

Make sure that your carrier supports visual voicemail and if they do, they need to troubleshoot the system. Voicemail is a carrier feature and they need to troubleshoot problems, including ones to visual voicemail. If they support it, they should know what you are talking about.
