AirPods pro 2 lid hinges

I purchased my AirPods Pro few days ago and noticed that the lid it can shift left and right along the hinge and kind of creaks if you do it. Not sure if it’s a defect on my unit or just the build quality.

AirPods Pro USB-C 2023 Case Lid Loose.. I just received my AirPods and I'm already disappointed. How it works? Is this really normal? The top closes and opens in all directions and makes a slight crunching sound. Yes, it is normal for the hinge to have a little give so there is less friction,.

My airpod pro 2 bought on November 2022 have the same issue, I understand what you mean but the airpod 2 (my friend bought and have been using for 2 years now) do not have that issue
