i'm not the only one apparently with this issue after a brief search thru various mac related forums.
what is the issue with creating mail aliases?
any time i try to created one i get the following error
i've tried this on different PCs/laptops and get the same error.

this seems like a stock answer where my post actually hasn't been read?
i said this issue appears to be happening to more than just me, i made no mention of trying "multiple ways" (there is only 1 way to do this).
having followed your link, there appears to be no way to "start that conversation" other than calling them - it's 2022 and you want me to actually call someone to seek support for a problem with a service?
