Apple mail doesn't display old emails

Hi,

I use Apple Mail to get my Yahoo mail account.

For an unknown reason, my inbox mail doesn't show any yahoo email prior to 2020 when I actually have email going back to 2006 and beyond.

When I go into Apple Mail, yahoo account data/detail, it tells me that my yahoo account have more than 10000 emails in the inbox. But Apple mail is only displaying a portion of it.

I did a "rebuild" mailbox operation and Apple mail is correctly downloading more than 10000 mails, but again, they are not displayed in the inbox, it juste stop somewhere in 2020. What's weird it's when I go to the search bar of mail and look for old email either via content or object, it will appears in the search bar, meaning these old email are correctly indexed in the search engine, but the result will alway return "no message found"

Any help is welcomed.

Which particular macOS version is this occurring on? This may be found in the Apple menu > About This Mac. This page can help to update if needed: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

While the title of the link may not directly match the issue, the steps involve may still be able to help. This will involve things like checking for status messages/symbols that may indicate a possible issue, as well as removing and re-adding the email account to the app.

To help us isolate this issue, log into your Yahoo account though a browser and make sure you are able to view all of your mail there. If you are not able to view all of your mail there, contact Yahoo for assistance. If you do see all of your mail on a browser, does this occur with all accounts or just your Yahoo account? This can help us further isolate the problem.

Additionally, let's make sure your device is up-to-date. If it is updated, let's restart your device. Restarting your device and making sure it is updated can resolve many unexpected issues.

Hello,

I can confirm that all my emails are in the Yahoo mailbox.

As mentioned, Apple mail displayed the downloading of 10K+ mail during the mail rebuilding operation.

But I can't see them.

I have no filter on Apple Mail nor Yahoo side.
