issues with apple mail

I HAVE NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH APPLE MAIL ON MY MACBOOK PRO. yes I am updated on all software: Ventura 13.1. Issues seem to get worse with each update. No one can help, not google, not apple. I only have two gmails, one for business, one personal. The business email seems to work better, the personal email: 1. will not save to drafts or any folders and 2. all emails disappear after a few weeks. THEY DO NOT DISAPPEAR ON MY IPHONE 13! I have tried rules, settings, deleted my personal gmail and reinstalled it, etc. any suggestions are appreciated.

I do have an issue with my business gmail, for some reason only part of the emails from a specific address arrive, not all of them and mostly they go into archive. And these are important and sent every evening.

Of course I can still log into google mail and find previous emails, but curious to know if anyone else has apple mail issues.

We understand that the Mail app is not working as expected after completing some intense troubleshooting steps. Since we're not sure of all the steps that were taken, rebuilding your mailboxes may help to resolve this issue:

"Rebuild mailboxes in Mail on Mac

You may need to rebuild a mailbox to update the list of messages it contains. For example, if messages appear to be missing or garbled, or if you can’t find all relevant messages when you search using the Entire Message search option.

In the Mail app on your Mac, select a mailbox in the sidebar.
Choose Mailbox > Rebuild.

When you rebuild mailboxes for IMAP or Exchange accounts, messages and attachments stored on your Mac are discarded, and then downloaded again from the mail server to your Mac. Your mailbox appears empty until the download is complete."
