Apple watch broken how can I know repairing or replacing is better.

Apple won't actually repair your watch. As long as your watch is still a supported model (Series 5 is) they'll offer you an Out of Warranty replacement watch, which will be a refurbished, but like new exact color and model watch to the broken watch.
Only you can decide if the cost is justified for a watch which is now about 4 years old.
