MacBook Air M2 - issues uploading files

Hi, I have a brand new MacBook Air M2 running Monterey 12.6 and I am really struggling to upload documents and files to a number of platforms-WeTransfer, Box, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, Outlook (emails). For eg. It took 45mins to upload 50% of an 8MB pdf to WeTransfer and crashed out!

is this a Monterey or machine issue and is anyone else experiencing the same issues?

Apple can you please advise?

The Apple Support Communities are only fellow Apple Uses ( like you and me ) who have a question or have a possible solution to offer.

Therefore, Apple is not here and will not answer your request.

Then have a few suggestions ;

1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues .

2 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue

Outside of that - running 2 Apple M1 Computer both with Monterey 12.6 and Safari 16 and do not experience what your computer is experiencing

1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

2 - Does the issue present in this mode ?

3 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.

4 - If not - there could be something in the main User Account playing up. To further isolate this - Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac. Then log out of the Main User account and log into the dummy account and test again if the issue persists.

5 - If the issue is present in the dummy account - then, this appears to be a System Wide issue on the computer.

6 - Download the Application Etrecheck directly from the Developer.

The application is free or paid from added features.

It will take a Snap Shot -  both the hardware and software.

 The Report will Not Reveal Any Personal Information.

We can have a look at the report for possible issues and may have possible suggestions to resolve the issues.
