Hi TheSquirt,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

It sounds like you may be using the new Follow Up feature. You can read more about it here: Reply to and forward emails in Mail on iPhone. This can be switched off in Settings > Mail.

"Follow up on emails

If you send a message and don’t receive a response for several days, the email automatically moves back to the top of your inbox to help you remember to follow up.

Go to Settings  > Mail, then turn Follow Up Suggestions on or off."

If that doesn't resolve the issue let us know more details.

Have a fantastic day!

Hey TheSquirt,

Thanks for there additional information.

Perhaps there is a filter selected inadvertently, which is causing the older emails for just Comcast to be in a different order. Take a look:

  1. Open Mail app
  2. Select < Mailboxes on upper left
  3. Scroll down to Comcast
  4. Tap on Inbox
  5. On the bottom of the screen, tap on Filtered By:
  6. Unread should be checked
  7. Further down that page, make sure no other options have been selected.

See if that helps.

Take care!
