can't terminate showtime subscription

I got automatic renewal for showtime and can't end it.

When I look at my account settings and see the subscription, it sends me to a page to sign up to i tunes. It then asks me to download latest version of itunes, with lates operating system which I don't want because of other software I have that won't work if I do that. How can I simply end this automatic subscription without having to make all these additional changes to my mac boo pro? thanks for any advice given.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.12

Hi Seeker321,

For help with canceling a subscription billed through Apple, test the steps below found in the article here:

"Cancel a subscription on your Mac

  1. Open the App Store app.
  2. Click your name. If you can't find your name, click Sign In.
  3. Click Account Settings.
  4. Scroll to Subscriptions, then click Manage.
  5. Mac showing the Account Information page.
  6. Next to the subscription, click Edit.
  7. Click Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel or Cancel Subscription button, the subscription is already canceled."

If the issue continues test canceling from a different device using the steps in the same article. If you need further assistance, reach out to Apple Support directly.
