Live listen not working with iPhone 14 pro -ios16

"You can amplify sound with Live Listen. Place your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch near what you want to hear, then listen through your AirPods. This can help you hear better in some situations—for example, when having a conversation in a noisy environment.

1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
2. Open Control Center on your device, tap , tap the name of your AirPods, then tap Live Listen.
3. If you don’t see , add it to Control Center—go to Settings  > Control Center, then choose Hearing.
4. Position your device near the sound source."

If you aren't getting the option, have you tried restarting your iPhone? This simple step resolves a multitude of issues: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.

Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
