Blocking emails using a ‘wildcard’ process.

Hi. Is there a way to block emails based on the @xxx only? I get loads of junk from 15***@addtocartnow***.co.uk, with a variation on the beginning or end. The @addtocartnow is the only consistent part, so I’m trying to block. Any ideas?

blocking pseudo email names I (we all) receive multiple spam/scam emails per day. Every site I've been to trying to determine how to block these emails is useless. The best way to describe the problem is with an example. So, I get multiple emails from ABC Co. (an example), which I want to stop from arriving in my inbox. Every site I've seen to date shows how to block emails by pressing on the sender's email name and them pressing the "Block this contact" option. This is useless because it doesn't block ABC Co. It on;y blocks the real address. I'll receive multiple emails from ABC Co. every day and every single one of them is in reality from a different email address even though every single one of them says it's from ABC Co. ABC Co. is a pseudo email address. The real address may be something like qiterv7ervcdsodbsifdg@gmail.com one time and will be something different, like 7yenvnwqyqfg@gmail.com the next time, and so on. But the pseudo address remains the same. I want to block any incoming mail that has "ABC Co." in the from field. Otherwise I'm forced to be blocking thousasnds of emails each with a different real address. By the way, we should also be able to block emails based on the Subject field. I can do both with my mail client but not on my iPad or iPhone. There must be a way to do this. If not, for shame.

Spam email blocking Is there any way to block emails from a single source with slightly different email addresses? Here is an example “****@68226.irkaspersky.com”. They change the email address by changing the 3 numbers before the @ sign and the 5 numbers after. The info. and the irkaspersky remains constant for all emails. This gives them millions of combinations. Perhaps there is a way to block any address containing “irkapersky”. The subject changes also. The To: address seems to be a mailing list Fellow Investors but if you click on it it’s “***@icloud.com for all the ones I checked. isn't there a way to block many email senders at once? I get multiple emails in my junk mailbox that are scams every day. I have made rules, but they don't seem to work This morning - as every morning I received multiple emails from icloud-storragee or very similar senders. I have attempted to do a rule, but it doesn't seem to put these directly in the trash. Is there a fast way to block senders with a "select all" or at least a shortcut?

Hi there Klestr,

In order to block emails from this specific sender, you would need to add each of these email iterations onto your block list. You would first need to create a contact to assign these emails to and then follow these steps from Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:

From the Mail app, open the email that has the contact that you want to block, then tap the contact at the top. Tap Block this Contact.

You can also move these emails to the Trash or mark them as junk using the applicable sections of this article: Organize email in mailboxes on iPad
