Retrieving junk text messages

I accidentally sent a text message to the junk folder. I HATE that new feature. How can I 'unjunk' that so I can see those messages again? Important school stuff that I need. Thanks!

In the messages app, tap 'Edit' in the upper left corner.

Select 'Show Recently Deleted'.

Select the message thread you want and tap 'Recover'.

Hello reneeck,

Looking into this we found that when you report a message as junk, it's permanently deleted. Those details can be found under "Report spam or junk messages" here: Block, filter, and report messages on iPhone - Apple Support

It does say reporting it as junk doesn't stop them from sending again, unless you block them. So be sure you didn't block them, then ask them to resend the information if possible. To check your blocked list, tap Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts, as shown here: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
