Blocking contacts on Apple Watch

I blocked a number in my contacts on my iphone but I cannot on my apple watch. I i still get messages on my watch. How can I block it all together?

As long as they’re paired it should block it from both. You can’t block a contact from your Apple Watch.

Blocked contact still comes through apple watch I blocked a contact in my iPhone, but their text messages still comes through my apple watch. I’ve already reset, unpaired, and powered off my apple watch and iPhone. Please help
