Siri not working with AirPods pro

Siri won’t work with my AirPods Pro. While phone is also connected to the air fly pro. All I get is with Siri comes up n disappears. Or just stays on doing nothing and I have to tap the screen to stop Siri. However when I put the air pods back in the case. Siri work fine while still connected to the air fly. I turned Siri on and off. Repaired the air pods. True we Bluetooth on and off. I can’t keep handling the phone while driving a semi truck. Need a fix
