I have a MacBook pro 13" and I bought an usb superdrive from Apple. I have an adapter between the computer and superdrive. On the screen it says
"USB accessories needs electricity. Connect the "apple usb" to a usb port on the computer"
I have tried all ports.
What is wrong?

External SuperDrive need more power than USB-C port provides power. You'd better get self powered USB A Hub and connect external Super Drive through it which should works.

It's not self powered USB Hub. Like following one is you need to get, though I'm not sure where you are living.
