Can’t receive calls from certain numbers

Hi

i can’t receive calls from certain numbers on my iPhone. There are a few people (and probably many I don’t know of) who cannot call me. When they try it doesn’t even go to voicemail it just says that the call cannot be connected. I first noticed this when I was abroad in September and i assumed it was related to the fact I was abroad but it has continued to persist. I’ve checked do not disturb, blocked lists etc to no avail. Some people have no issues calling at all.

any ideas?

How many callers does this affect? Do they have anything in common (such as the same network provider)?

On your end, did you install a profile when you were traveling? Go to Settings/VPN and Device Management and see if there are any profiles related to a carrier.

I would start by contacting your cellular voice provider just to make sure there is not an issue at their end with your account/service.

Are you using VPN? As all US phone service now uses VoLTE, where voice calls actually use cellular data, a VPN connection might interfere (just speculation).
