Numbness and tingling when wearing Apple Watch

I thought I was losing my mind! I have only had the watch for three weeks and I get numbness that radiates to my fingers every time I wear the 8 series watch. It is crazy because I had a series 6 since 2018 and I NEVER had this problem. I have loosen the band and changed wrist but it still occurs. At this point my watch is not a wrist watch but more of a pocket watch, which is a shame given the cost. I have been a loyal Apple customer for the past decade or so and this is insane that apple is not taking this serious. This issue could cause permanent damage
