Screen time not updating or syncing

My son’s iPhone screen time is not updating on my phone. Hasn’t been updated since September 25, constant spinning circle. This started after we both did the new update. I’m also not able to limit his app usage or change downtime times. Our phones have been restarted numerous times, both updated, sharing on all devices. Nothing seems to work.

Let’s look at isolating the situation. Is your son having any issues accessing other features of Family Sharing such as shared purchases, albums etc? Do you use Ask To Buy? If so, let’s toggle that off, restart and toggle it back on. 


Since the communication here is done via a network, do either you or your son use any type of VPN or security software? If so, can we temporarily remove it, restart the device(s) and test again? Check VPN (Virtual Private Network) and third-party software to help resolve network connectivity issues
