Notification on whatsapp web is not working on ipad safari

Hi, i’m using whatsapp web on ipad, but it seems like whatsapp web is not notifying me a new messages, i tried to turn on the notification on notification settings on whatsapp web but it didn’t work, is there any other way to solve this problem? I really need it.
