WhatsApp notification is not working. When i open WhatsApp then i get messages before opening WhatsApp no alert no notification

No WhatsApp notifications Has anyone figured out how to get WhatsApp notifications to work consistently? I’ve done all the easy stuff. Plus reinstalled WhatsApp. That worked for awhile but the stopped working again.

WhatsApp is not an Apple app. This has nothing to do with Apple.
