Thanks for your answer, but you have not hit the problem.

The missing photos are those of the artists. Take a closer look at the screenshot I posted.

I'm not talking about album photos, or playlists. What is missing are the photos of the artists.

Thanks for the answer, but I don't quite understand what you are asking me ... Are you asking me to start the Mac in safe mode and create a new user? Why?

The problem is not with the user but with the software. I have the same problem on another Mac and iPhone too (see screenshot). Music and iTunes lack a lot of photo artists ... and there's no way to manually insert a photo.

Music and iTunes have a problem because there are also missing photos of famous artists, but I say more ... It would be ideal to be able to insert the photo artist manually. If I add to my library an artist who is not famous (for example my cousin's band), I should be able to insert a photo manually. :)

Hello IoNonciRoberto,

We’d like to have you do some isolating troubleshooting steps. These steps will help us to isolate the cause further. Please use the steps as listed here for safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Intel processor

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key as your Mac starts up.
  2. Release the key when you see the login window, then log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again. On either the first or second login window, you should see ”Safe Boot” in the upper-right corner of the window.

Please set up a new user account using the steps a listed here: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac - Apple Support

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Users & Groups .

If the lock at the bottom left is locked , click it to unlock the preference pane.

  • Click the Add button  below the list of users.
  • Click the New Account pop-up menu, then choose a type of user.
  • Enter a full name for the new user. An account name is generated automatically. To use a different account name, enter it now—you can’t change it later.
  • Enter a password for the user, then enter it again to verify. Enter a password hint to help the user remember their password.
  • Click Create User.
  • Depending on the type of user you create, you can also do any of the following:
  • For an administrator, select “Allow user to administer this computer.”
  • For an administrator, select “Allow user to reset a password using Apple ID.”
  • Use Sharing preferences to specify whether the user can share your files and share your screen.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Take care.
