Random number for Apple Pay verification

Hello,

about 2 months ago my debit card information was stolen and money was stolen from my debit card. I had this figured out with my bank. Today, I added my new card information to Apple Pay and a random phone number came up to verify Apple Pay. I went into settings and checked my Apple ID, checked my apple wallet, and checked my messages and the only phone number to come up is my own. I am 100% this phone number is from the random person who scammed me. How can I find the full phone number (since it is blocked with X’s), and how can I delete this phone number from my Apple Pay verification? Thank you.
