Reminders in silent mode

Is there a way to have reminders bypass silent mode and play the reminder tone?

Alarm doesn’t sound I don’t get the reminders app. What’s the purpose of setting a reminder if I need to set an alarm to remind me to look at the reminder app??? Dumb. I’m much better off using the calendar to set a reminder cause you can set an alert and even a second alert. Having no way to set alarms in the reminder app make it almost useless. It’s basically a ToDo list at best.

Setting an audible alert tone in Reminders app Can I set an alarm to go off when a reminder (Apple “Reminders” app) is due without putting it in my calendar or literally setting an alarm? Seems like an audible tone should be an option, but I don’t see it. TIA
