Homepod is having trouble connecting to the internet

Hi, I just got 2 homepods and both have been experiencing wifi drops since i bought them (less than 2 weeks). I tried reset homepod, reset router, all troubleshooting i found on forum. Still seem to drop every morning. I'm using Verizon Fios G1100 Router.

I recently bought iphone and coming on to Apple ecosystem from Android. I have had 4 Google Home mini and none of which had this problem. 3 of Google Home mini i'm still using. one is next to the homepod mini. I know it's not my wifi hardware as no other electronic devices in the house is having this problem

Anyone else has this issue with their homepod ? I would image software update is needed from Apple.

Most routers now aday have dual bands. I have connected to 2.4gz today and set static ip. Will see if it stays. Seems like the problem can be solve easily with software update to include auto reconnect script. My issue here is the cost of HomePod is twice as much as google home mini (some I bought for $25) but unable to keep a stable connection. Again none of my other devices in the house has this issue. Im sure some devices had wifi dropped at some point or another but all were able to reconnect automatically without having me unplug it to restart. If any Apple reps are reading this, please take the suggestion for future software update to fix this. Thank you
