Not to my knowledge.

So, Report it to Apple.

Do your Part: Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what issues are occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - AirPods - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on when you came across this issue, and how you have troubleshot it this far. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there as necessary

The only resolution is a new firmware update of Apple. :(

P.S: If you put the earbuds on your ears, put them in ambient mode, and cover your ears with your pinna without pressure, and you hear an unpleasant pee~ sound, your earbuds are defective. I encountered this case and exchanged the APP2 itself with a new one.

I am having the same problem. Called apple support today with no help. I called and was put on hold twice after speaking to someone and disconnected. I was also told I could not get a replacement because the engineers were working on a fix to this problem, I had to take them to an apple store and work with the genius bar. Customer service was horrible, my airpods are 3 weeks old, dropping connection each time I use them. Apple you should be ashamed to release a product that obviously was not ready for release.
