Apple Music Glitch

Whenever a song is playing, very often now, as the song is playing, it glitches, and the same song playing continues, all meanwhile the song is being played over the song, at a different time in the song.

it lasts 1-4 seconds, where I am listening to one song at two different points in the song.

i am off my phone as this happens. It does not have to do with being on the app or touching any buttons. It just randomly does it.

could be related to my AirPods? Not sure. Please help.

Let’s work to isolate the situation a bit. We have some questions and steps to help do that.

You mentioned using AirPods, do you notice the issue happens when not using your AirPods? This way we can determine if the situation is related to a connected Bluetooth device.

Are you listening to music that is being streamed or is it downloaded? If you’ve only tested with one, can we try with the other? If you’re using Apple Music, here’s how to do that - Add and download music from Apple Music

Additionally, if you’re streaming music, can you test on a different network? For example cellular as opposed to Wi-Fi or vice versa.
