Apple Music static glitch/lag for 15 seconds

I’ve read a lot of people talking about the same problem across a variety of devices, and even some giving resolutions and it working for others. However this issue for me started today out of nowhere and is ONLY on the mobile Apple Music app — the Playback Sound Enhancer option wasn’t even enabled in the first place on PC iTunes. On any song with lossless/dolby atmos it does the glitch, and on every possible output; normal phone speakers, AirPods, Bluetooth headphones, etc. It is exclusive to the music app and I have tried multiple troubleshooting options.

Please help in fixing this issue, it pretty much only happens for the first 15 seconds of the song but it is annoying and there is no definitive cause.

We can help with Apple Music on your iPhone. To start, which iOS version is listed in Settings > General > About, next to Software Version? If your iPhone isn't updated to the most current release of iOS 16.1, we'd suggest updating with these steps: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Also, does this happen with songs that are downloaded on your device or streaming? If they're downloaded, try deleting them and downloading them again to see if that resolves the issue. Learn more about that here: Delete music in the Apple Music app - Apple Support

Next, is your iPhone connected to a reliable Wi-Fi network with good signal strength when this happens or is this happening on cellular data only?

finally someone who has the same problem. at first i thought it was my airpods acting up, so i tried listening on headphones, listened on my iphone speakers, then listened on different apps and came to the conclusion that the problem lies with the apple music app itself. no matter how im listening to it it starts making up this static noise. even on the itunes app on my pc. they’re all up to date and the problem is still not solved.
