no sent mail sound in Monterey OS 12.6

Is the sent mail whoosh sound option gone in OS 12.6? I can't find it.

Thanks for any input on this.

No.

Try a safeboot to clear cache file

reboot as normal and test

Doing the Safe Boot opened a can of worms. Apparently there's a hardware problem left over from a recent Apple repair on my computer. I called Apple support and went through everything.

So, thank you, leroydouglas for the suggestion because it did reveal some issues that need to be addressed beyond the sent mail sound.
