Big Sur 11.7 operating system and Canon printers

After a recent operating system upgrade on my iMac to Big Sur 11.7, I lost the ability to choose one of my printers, a canon pro-1 printer. What happened? Has this happened to others? In searching Canon support for the printer, the driver/software choices for operating systems does not include Big Sur 11.7, only Big Sur 11.0. Will the driver for 11.0 systems work?

iMac 27″, macOS 11.7

Hello!

Try these steps:

First, delete all Canon software and Apps.
Then, Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem - Apple Support.
Finally, Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac - Apple Support.
