Autocorrect happens when hitting send in iMessage

When I am texting, all of the correct words and spelling of the words are in the text box. However once I hit send, I’ve noticed that words will be missing or misspelled. I thought it was just me moving to fast but I’ve been texting that theory for two weeks and that’s not the case. Information is some how been removed or changed during the submission process. How can I fix this?

Someone has asked this question before but it is definitely a bug in the iMessage or keyboard user experience. Please do not suggest any article unless it specifically allows disabling of autocorrect when hitting “send” in iMessage.

this needs a feature flag in the typing preferences

Hey Tooley311,

If we understand correctly, Auto-Correction will work until you hit send in Messages, where it will misspell some words. Let's get some more information to help narrow this down.

Does this happen if you use other apps like Safari?

If you go to Settings > General > Keyboard and remove the English keyboard and add it back, does the issue persist?
