IoS 16 and Bluetooth earphones
I hear that if I upgrade to IOS 16, I won't be able to use any earphones except Apple's, which are very expensive. Is that true?

iPhones use the standard BT audio profiles as far as I know. I'm sure that it's within the realm of possibility that, somewhere out there, there are BT headsets that don't work. But, I've never run into any.
My experience is that extremely cheap BT headsets can be problematic. So, while you don't have to buy AirPod Pros, don't buy the cheapest ones you can find.
