Since downloading iOS 16.0.2 my AmpliTube app plays all the songs in it at a much faster speed with a lot of crackling in the background, after contacting IK multimedia I have been informed that iOS 16 has a problem with analogue interfaces, just wondering if anyone has the same problem or can shed any light 💡

I have the same exact issue! I just updated because my iphone wouldn't stop harassing me to update, so I did and now my previously saved songs and tracks have the same issue as yours on my iPhone 13. So annoying! I want to rollback to the previous version.
I got on to IK multimedia and was told it was because I was using Irig2 and it’s because it’s a problem with the analog interface. So I would need a digital interface to cure the problem. Then I tried it without any interface, or bass and low a behold just with the tunes playing on my phone….. same problem so basically IK multimedia are crap as are apple so I’ll be binning AmpliTube and my iPhone and switching to android.

Got same problem ! iPhone 12 pro, iOS 16.1 and Amplitube 4.14
Also my old songs recordered with previously iPhone and iOS version now play faster and with a lot of noise. Seems that playback frequencies are not supported.
Not yet apparently they have an update coming out imminently that should sort it, so keep an eye on your App updates. Or sign up to the IK multimedia newsletter that should tell you when the updates out 👍
I have the same issue only with iPhone 12 pro. I’ve tried it with 13, it works pretty well.
