Spatial audio not available on my iPhone 13 mini

Are you experiencing this behavior when you are  on a phone call? We're asking as Spatial Audio won't enable when a phone calls is active and can't be used for calls.

Next, let's check if you have have Headphone Accommodations on or Mono Audio enabled in Settings > Accessibility > Audio/Visual as these items can prevent Spatial Audio from enabling.

Finally, can you test your AirPods with another iOS device to isolate the behavior further?

mono audio was on for me. this fixed it. (iphone 14 pro)
