Friend gave me old ipod. Want to make it known to my PC.
How to I make an old ipod 4GB given to me work with my PC?
You will need iTunes on your computer. If you don't already have iTunes, you can download it from Download and use iTunes for Windows - Apple Support.
- If you have Windows 10 (or Windows 11), use the version for Windows 10
- If you have Windows 7 (or Windows 8), use the version for Windows 8
You will need to use the correct version to go with your version of Windows.
- Then add your music to iTunes
- Connect the iPod to your computer. iTunes should see it
