Unable to share Health data with partner

My partner has been able to share his Health data with me but when I tried several times to do it, it comes up with “invite pending” and he doesn’t get an invite on his phone.

We have checked that we had both our contacts and email addresses we use for Apple ID saved up, and two-factor authentification is enabled too. We have also checked the iCloud and we don’t think the issue comes from there. We are both on iOS 16.

Is there anything else we should check or do?

Ensure your partner follows these steps to accept the invitation: View data shared by others in Health on iPhone - Apple Support

Accept an invitation to view another person’s health data

For a loved one to send you an invitation to view their health data, and for you to receive it, each of you must have your own iPhone with iOS 15 or later.

1. After the invitation arrives, do one of the following:

- Tap the invitation, such as on the Lock Screen or in Notification Center.

- In Health, tap Sharing at the bottom of the screen, then tap View in the invitation at the top of the screen.

2. Tap Accept, then tap Done.
