Is 80% battery health after 148 charge cycles normal for ipad (8th gen)?

My ipad recently started charging slowly so i checked the battery charge cycles and found out that it has completed 148 cycles and has an 80% battery health.

Is this normal or do i need to get it checked?

How are you verifying your iPad battery health - as this information is not exposed by iPadOS? An iPad battery is rated to retain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1000 full recharge cycles.

If you have any concerns, you might be well advised to seek assistance directly from from Apple Support - and request a remote diagnostic test. You can contact the Support Team using the Get Support link at top-right of this page. Alternatively, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

You might also visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad:
