Iphone 14 heating

Does anyone have iPhone 14 heating issue even during very normal usage? Mine gets warm even while browsing internet or Instagram

I have not put a cover on my phone yet and there are times I cannot even pick up my iPhone 14 it is so hot to the touch. I just purchased the new phone this week. I went on this forum to try to figure out what is going on too. I have multiple levels of iPhones. I’ve never had this heating up issue before. I am wondering if I need to return it?

Thanks for the suggestion Sravan ji..but i phone are premium phones and I would rather use it with a cover than taking the risk without one. Even with cover on I believe the phone should not get warm with moderate use. I do not play graphic intensive games nor subject the phone to heavy use. I have used iPhone xs for around 3.5 years and never faced this issue.

Hello..Thankfully mine does not get that hot. But in your case it seems to heat up quite a bit. It might be worth to get it checked once at the service center. You have not mentioned your usage pattern whether you subject the phone to heavy load or just normal use.

Please remove any protective cover on the iPhone and check again.
