iPhone 14 max pro keeps rebooting

I’ve had a replacement already. Anyone know what would make iPhone 14 max pro keep rebooting ? Mostly during and after charging phone. Like I said already returned one phone to Apple Store for same problem. Network reset , setting reset , hard reboot, and IOS updated.

The only time I charge during the day is when I’m driving and I plug my phone into the car charger. It so far has not restarted while doing that. I just updated the iOS to 16.0.2 and I now have the phone on a qi-charger to see if it restarts during the day. Curious if the magnetic chargers are the problem.

Update: it didn’t take long before it restarted while on the magnetic charger. I was listening to a podcast and it stopped and restarted.

Found out yesterday when going to photos and scrolling to the bottom had message syncing photos from iCloud stuck. If I waited long enough the phone would reboot. Went to back up phone as soon as it was pressed phone would reboot. My guess is that since photos was stuck trying to sync from cloud and trying to back up phone at the same time it made the system crash. I think that’s why we see it more often while charging since both things wait for the phone to be on a charger and Wi-Fi before they start. I turned off sync this phone in icloud /photos under your profile in settings and rebooted phone. Backed up phone no problem and charged all night no reboots. Hopefully this helps someone else because I didn’t get much support from Apple or my carrier. In short see if iCloud is stuck trying to sync somewhere mine was photos.

I had that sync message in photos the first day of having my phone but got it synced and that message no longer appears. I have an appointment today to have my phone looked at. I noticed in settings: privacy and security: analytics and improvements:analytics data: and scrolling down through that log that I have panic-full logs that correspond to the times the phone restarted. Clicking on one of those says bug-type, other words in that string of text include incident, crash report key,, panic string, etc.

They did the same when I went to the Apple Store. Found no hardware issue but some kind of performance issue on their 2nd test. The phone is to new to service so they gave me a brand new phone. The next day that phone did the same thing which is why I ended up here. Hopefully you’ll have better luck than me. I’m sure they are just gonna swap your phone hopefully it’s the fix for you. Let’s us know
