iphone 14 carplay microphone too low

My husband and I can barely hear others and they can barely hear us on our new iPhone 14 pro CarPlay. We have turned up the volume and have looked through many settings. It works fine when we are not connected to CarPlay. Please advise.

Microphone Volume iPhone 14 ProMax with CarPlay When I upgraded my iPhone 13 Pro Max to the same iPhone 14, my Apple CarPlay stopped working for phone calls. The microphone volume is too low on CarPlay, so the person I am talking with can’t hear me. Having done research I’ve learned that this has been a common problem for many iPhone users for several years. This is my first experience with this problem. I know that Apple’s response will be a bunch of dumb stuff about steps to take, upgrading software, rebooting and such, even though anyone taking the time to post a problem will have obviously exhausted all of the basics. My problem is not a software version issue. Both my IOS and CarPlay firmware is the latest version. I have tried a brand new Apple cable. I have toggled every conceivable setting to no avail. If anyone has had success fixing this problem, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thanks.

CarPlay microphone low gain iphone 14 pro max ios 16.0.1 Hi, I got iphone 14 pro max and updated to ios 16.0.1, however if i call somebody connected to CarPlay using usb wired connection, the other party can barely hear me, that only happens through CarPlay wired and not through bluetooth . it happened in both of our cars with CarPlay and with both of our iphones Thanks
