How do I downgrade back to 15.7

I have an iPhone XR and upgraded to iOS16. My phone no longer swipes to unlock and freezes even after a hard restart. How do I go back to 15.7 when my phone was working perfectly?

Apple does not support downgrading the iOS.

It sounds like you have some hardware issues, make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it diagnosed.

And downgrading won’t solve your problem; hundreds of millions of iPhones have been upgraded that don’t have this problem, so whatever the cause it isn’t the upgrade.. You will have to troubleshoot it, or contact Apple support using the link at the top of this page.
