I have recently upgraded my iPhone 11 to IOS 16 and my notification sounds have stopped working

If we understand your post correctly, since updating your phone to iOS 16 you no longer are receiving sounds when a notification comes in. We'd like to help!

One thing to check is to ensure that the mute button on the left hand side of your phone isn't enabled. If it is enabled it will be orange.

Another thing to check is to ensure the notification sounds are set to the volume you want to hear them at.

Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. Check the Ringer and Alerts slider. Try changing the sound pattern for the type of alert.

Are you still getting the previews for the notifications

Do other sounds work? What about phone calls?

I got the same issue but a little bit different. Mine is did not get notification when phone is on idle position (locked screen). Please fix this issue, especially WhatsApp
