No notification sounds on my iPhone SE

I have an SE 2nd Gen, Completely updated. I am not receiving any sounds on notifications. The sound I selected play when I select them in the settings. I have read and performed all available troubleshooting steps. Nothing works. All settings are correct. I am missing important messages. Very frustrated. Any help will be appreciated.
