New sim

I changed provider and got a new sim but I seem to have two numbers now. How do I just keep my old number?

How to replace SIM card phone number info I changed carriers and took my phone number with me. In the new carrier they gave me a new SIM with a temporary number, while the process of changing my number from one carrier to another took place. I have my usual number, but the SIM still shows the temporary one. How do I change it?

You would have to talk to your new provider about that. They are the ones who assign phone numbers.
