Magic Mouse not working after water damage

I got a new I Mac last Christmas. Today did a stupid and got coffee on my mouse. Got it to turn back on but it will not open anything. Or close files. Is this fixable?

You may want to wrap it in a warm towel to help dry it out and give it a couple of days. If it still doesn’t work then, in the immortal words of Star Trek’s Dr. Leonard (Bones) McCoy, “It’s dead, Jim."
